Alphy J. Gaudet

The death occurred suddenly at the Maplewood Manor, Alberton on Wednesday November 22, 2006 of Alphy Gaudet formerly of St. Edward aged 95 years. Husband of the late Mae (Dugay) Gaudet. He was born on April 20, 1911 to John S. and Catherine (Poirier) Gaudet. Dear father to Dora (Irving) Laviolette, St. Edward, George (Ruth), Miminegash, Henry (Phyllis) St. Edward, Leo (Shirley) Miminegash, Stella (Phillip) Gallant, St. Louis, Bernadette (Gerard) Gallant, St. Edward, Alice (Edlow) Gallant, St. Edward, Rita (Michael) Chaisson, St. Edward, Pat (Debbie), Dunville, Ont., Peter (Darlene) St. Edward, Theresa (Eugene) Arsenault, Tignish, Francis (Claudia) St. Edward and a special nephew Maurice Hamilton, Ont. Loving grandfather to 49 grandchildren, 77 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. Brother to Milda Desjardins, Mae Smith, Mary Allain and Frank Gaudet. He was predeceased by his wife Mae, parents John S. and Catherine, a son Raymond in infancy, brothers Edmund and Ivan, sisters Dorothy, Josephine and Alice. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, Palmer Road for visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm and Saturday from 9 - 10:30 am. Funeral will be held Saturday at the Immaculate Conception Church , Palmer Road at 11 am. Memorial donations to the Church Cemetery Fund, Western Hospital Equipment Fund or the Maplewood Manor would be greatly appreciated.
