The death occurred suddenly at the home of her sister and brother-in-law Edward and Mary Blanchard of St. Edward on Sunday May 12, 2013 of Alice Doucette of St. Edward aged 82 years.
Wife of the late George Doucette.
Alice was born in St. Edward on March 6, 1931, the daughter of the late Frank and Veronica (Perry) Allain.
Dear sister to Mary (Edward) Blanchard, Doris (late Harold) Gallant, Exzelia (late Armand) Lavoie all of St. Edward. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Eva Allain, St. Raphael, Melvina Arsenault,Tignish, Leta Gallien and Anita Doucette, St Edward as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Veronica, husband George, brother Elmer, sister Olive and brother-in-law George and nephew Joey.
Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road for visiting hours Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.. Funeral will be held Tuesday at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road with funeral mass at 11 a.m. Celebrant Rev. Jacques Rigaud.
Memorial donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation or Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated.
Interment in the church cemetery.
