Alfred "Fred" Doucette

The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on August 4, 2022, of Alfred “Fred” Doucette of Skinners Pond. Son of the late Walter and Mae Doucette of Skinners Pond. He was the loving husband of Linda (nee Arsenault) and the father of Leigh (Nicole) and Tammy (Joan). Cherished grandfather to Sadie, Sam and Waylon.

He was survived by brothers and sisters Marie (late Francis) Perry, Eugene (Dianne), Evelyn (Leroy) Arsenault, and Carl (Helen). Also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law Marie (late Kevin) DesRoches, Wesley (Janet) Arsenault, Austie (Phillis) Arsenault, Andrew (Angie) Arsenault, Brian (Angela) Arsenault, Connie (Billy) Carragher and Joe (Coleen) Arsenault.

Predeceased by parents Walter and Mae, brother Cecil, brothers and sisters-in-law, Albert, Janet, Cecil, Donna and Kenny.

Resting at West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, Palmer Road. No visiting hours by personal request.

Funeral will be held Monday, August 8, 2022, at St. Simon and St. Jude Church Tignish, with funeral mass at 10:30 am. Celebrant Rev. John Molina.
